I collaborate closely with external communications and media relations teams to ensure consistent, timely messaging across all key audiences. I bring a mixed-media approach to communication channels, from internal e-newsletters to LinkedIn blog posts, and work to refresh and build communication tools that align with the company’s evolving needs. I also develop internal communications strategies that promote continuous improvement within the company culture, helping associates better understand the company’s vision and corporate objectives through our Five Principles and Purpose. Additionally, I am responsible for ongoing story mining, highlighting associate moments, milestones, and anniversaries, and tailoring content for diverse audiences, including office, factory, and sales teams.

Throughout the program, I participated in weekly web sessions with executive speakers from leading companies like L’Oreal, Wunderman Thompson, American Express, and TikTok, exploring topics such as multicultural and inclusive advertising, purpose-driven branding, storytelling, and consumer insights. I also took part in the Mentor Match program, where I was paired with industry executives based on my interests, fostering valuable virtual mentorship. As part of the Certified ANA Marketing Student (CAMS) program, I completed a 17-hour virtual marketing course led by industry professionals, earning a digital badge and certificate. Networking opportunities through virtual meetups and exclusive social groups further enriched my experience, while portfolio and resume reviews with top agency recruiters helped refine my personal brand and career direction.

In this role, I was responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s online presence through strategic social media marketing. I utilized various tools to create and maintain a cohesive brand image while collaborating with marketing professionals to design and execute impactful social media campaigns. Over the course of my time at Drew University, I held several roles that helped me develop a diverse skill set in communication, leadership, and civic engagement. As a Civic Scholar Fellow at the Civic Engagement Center, I supported the planning of civic events, organized the Civic/Action Scholar Advisory Committee, and coordinated service trips. I also worked as a Peer Career Coach, where I assisted students with resume and cover letter revisions, explored job and internship opportunities with undergraduates, and developed workshops on professionalism and volunteer work. In addition, I served as a photographer and videographer for the Communications and Instructional Technology Departments, capturing and editing content for on-campus events and student stories, while also contributing to the Drew University website with promotional video edits.
Throughout my time at Drew, I also worked as a Tour Guide, providing prospective students with campus tours and information sessions to showcase the university. As an Office Assistant, I managed the Raiser’s Edge database, organized alumni events, maintained media platforms for the Drew Alumni and Student Alumni Association, and communicated with alumni for various inquiries. These experiences allowed me to hone my organizational, communication, and technical skills, all while contributing to the university community and engaging with students, faculty, and alumni.

I was responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive weekly and monthly social media and blogging calendar to ensure consistent content creation and strategic planning. I coordinated weekly brainstorming sessions with the company team to establish content ideas for the upcoming week and month, focusing on both short-term and long-term goals for social media, editorial, marketing, and blogging initiatives. I established a new sector within the nonprofit focused on mentoring high school students to teach dance to children with special needs. In partnership with Kids2Kids, I created and launched a dance program that empowers students with special needs to learn dance. Over the course of a year, I taught dance twice a week and successfully completed over 400 hours of service. This initiative has been incredibly rewarding, and I am proud to have witnessed the program's growth and positive impact. For my contributions, I was honored to receive the Gold Presidential Award for Service.

Additionally, I drafted the job description for a new Executive Director, supporting the organization's leadership transition and future growth.
